We recently spent time on-site for our second conversation with Scott McGill of MCG Commercial, our go-to commercial real estate expert, to get the inside scoop on the new businesses and commercial development taking shape in Norterra.

One of the most exciting aspects of Union Street at Norterra is its proximity to the Union Park community. This location was intentionally designed with walkability in mind, allowing nearby residents to walk or bike to coffee, dining, and shopping...without needing to hop in the car.

- Firebirds Wood Fired Grill
What’s Opening Next?
CAVA is scheduled to open September 14, 2026, and First Watch is also planned for Phase 1 of Union Street at Norterra.
What About the Next Phase?
There is strong local buzz that Total Wine & More is coming in a future phase of the development. However, we have not yet seen an official announcement, so we’ll continue watching for confirmation before calling it official.
